Allison Denise Simpson Alias: Azura Indira Riverja Age: 23 Location: California Education: University of California at Davis: Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and Management with a minor in Psychology Occupation: Unemployed Post-grad, amateur artist, webcomic writer Favorites: her favorite color is blue, her favorite animal is a fox, and her very favorite thing to eat is cookies About Azura was born and raised in a small town just outside of San Francisco, California, where she spent her childhood days playing with her friends, playing video games, and drawing. She does all of these things to this day. After graduating high school in 2005, she attended the University of California at Davis and, after much highly stresseful debate and going through several potential degrees including but not limited to english, computer science engineering, psychology, neurophysiology physiology and behavior, biological sciences and a few others, she finally decided to pursue a degree in animal science and management with a minor in psychology. After four and a quarter years of college, most of which was spent either in class or playing trumpet in the marching band, and very little of which was devoted to art, she graduated with honors in December, 2009. She did manage to take a few art classes on the way, and spent a summer quarter studying painting in Italy, but decided against pursuing a minor in studio art. Forever done with studying and, sadly, band as well, Azura moved in with her boyfriend who was attending graduate school at the University of California in Irvine, and decided to devote some attention back to her art and, in particular, the comic she'd been working on sporadically since high school. She currently works as a receptionist at a dog groomer in the mornings and as a tutor at a tutoring center for kids of all ages in the afternoons. She plans to travel and teach English abroad soon.
